How Meetora began
It started with a missed connection. A tutor trying to help a student couldn’t get them past a “please download our app” screen. A founder’s investor call hit a free-plan time limit mid-sentence. A family video call asked everyone to make accounts just to say happy birthday.
We kept seeing the same thing: the technology to meet over video had become incredible — and the experience of getting into a meeting had quietly gotten worse. Every tool wanted a sign-up, an upsell, an upgrade.
So we set out to make the part that should be effortless feel effortless again. We wrapped best-in-class open video infrastructure in a clean, beautiful interface, removed every barrier we could find, and made a promise to keep it free.
