Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Meetora (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and video-meeting service at meetora.cc (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Meeting information
We store basic metadata about meetings you host or schedule, such as room names, scheduled times, and meeting status. Live audio and video are processed in real time and are not recorded by us unless you explicitly start a recording.
Payment information
Wallet top-ups are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers; we only retain transaction records (amount, time, status) needed for your wallet balance and history.
Technical information
We may automatically collect limited technical data such as browser type, device information, and approximate location derived from your IP address, used to keep the Service secure and working.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process wallet top-ups and maintain your transaction history.
- To communicate with you about your account or important changes.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
3. AI notes & transcription
If a host enables AI Notes during a meeting, speech may be transcribed in your browser and processed to generate notes and summaries. These notes are tied to the meeting and may be deleted automatically after the meeting ends. Do not enable AI Notes for conversations you do not have permission to transcribe.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with: service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting and payment processing), and authorities where required by law. These providers are bound to use your data only as needed to provide their services.
5. Data retention
We keep account and transaction data for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. Meeting links, host keys, and temporary notes are cleaned up automatically over time.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You may access or update your account details from your settings, or request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
